But I also take a small dose of vitamin k2, and take with food at night, the fat of the food helps the vitamin d3 to get absorbed better, as does the k2, but the k2 is also supposed to help keep the calcium from getting into your veins as bad, which can cause more problems, also I use a combination of magnesium, which is also supposed to help. I do feel a lot better now, but it took a while. Also a complex of vitamin B supplement, but I do not take them all together, I take it at least an hour apart, except the d3 and k2 I take together. Good luck. Also if I were you, I would find a new doctor, it sounds like you are having more problems than just low vitamin d levels, as low vitamin d is a symptom of other conditions. At least that's what my doctor has told me. I use puritan's pride, for most of my supplements, and they seem to be working, but I know there are probably better ones out there also.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30983428.post-41597550956534864482017-08-29T01:59:39.918-07:002017-08-29T01:59:39.918-07:00Similarly traditional herbal medicine can be ortho...Similarly traditional herbal medicine can be orthomolecular or toximolecular depending on the molecules present in the herb prescribed.
i Norge
jadehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13835847777966515522noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30983428.post-296022889789321842017-06-12T12:22:30.087-07:002017-06-12T12:22:30.087-07:00@unknown -I haven't heard that. I was told to take 2000IU of vitamin D but have been taking 5000IU as that is the supplement I have. I've taken it daily since April and was tested today with a reading of 16.2 vitamin d3 and d3 total. I also get plenty of sun daily and it seems I'm not absorbing it. I'm deficient in iron and b12 as well but my levels of those are going up but my vitamin d levels have fallen despite supplementation. What could be going on? I do have digestive upset daily and was told I had IBS 3 years ago but no concrete diagnosis. Thanks!
