The last month has however bought on seizures an we are desperate to put a stop to them. After a second oppinion the Dr suggested a gluten allergy... I'm wondering, this calcification you mentioned, if gluten is cut out of the diet does this calcification eventually go away or will it be there permanently causing seizures?? Celiac runs in my family but my blood test came back negative 10 years ago. At that time I was developing Narcolepsy with Cataplexy as well as non-epileptic seizures that alternated during attacks with paralysis so bad I couldn't breathe. For years doctors told me these episodes were psychogenic and I was referred to psychologists again and again, without success. Recently I discovered that these seizures are 100% due to gluten intolerance. If I avoid gluten, I don't have attacks. If I eat the tiniest crumb, I seize 15 hours later (it takes that long.) It's fascinating to hear they can find antibodies in the CSF. I doubt I'll ever being going back on gluten to find out if I have them, though. I think it's better to try and stay healthy for the first time in a decade. :)ziahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14692839108408119736noreply@blogger.com
